Both the headboard and foot-board have inset panels with curves, grooves, and crevices that are proving to be quite the challenge to sand. Nov 24, 2012· I have lots of power tools but these details really don't lend them self to sanding with power tools with out destroying the detail. So I was hoping some of you have tricks to sand on edges and details that a I don't know about.

The sanding sponge worked pretty well. I used it to clean up some divot type surfaces caused by hand carving tools. Worked pretty well getting down into the divots and softening the top surface and stayed reasonably together despite a fair amount to use.
